Greensburg Kansas Supercell Radar Loop

Ontariochaser.org managed to get the radar loop from yesterdays Supercell that almosot hit Greensburg, Kansas. Many people had memories on last years EF5 tornado that hit Greensburg. @TheMightykaz What I meant was they dodged a bullet with the 2008 cell, not the cell the previous year in '07. In 2008, they got lucky, but of course, they didn't get lucky the year before.

Greensburg definitely dogged a big time bullet with this supercell. Very impressive hook echo on the storm though.

First EF5. I was up the road from this about 70 miles or so. Glad I wasn't closer.

Damn, why's Chuck Norris always picking on Greensburg? No, in all seriousness, my heart goes out to all those brave people in Greensburg and I hope that rebuilding efforts are going well. I am glad to see that this one missed. Let's pray that this year will be a little better in terms of no EF-5's.
