Finally getting around to part 2, aircraft. Again sorry if you don't see your plane. Had camera trouble that day. But I got a few good shots. Next will likely be artillery then sci-fi.

  • NICE!! A 56th Fighter Group P-47 D (at least I think it's a D, not 100% sure) at 0:53. Beautiful Mustang too.. and the Mi-24 Hind! ALL models were great, but those mentioned stood out to me.. :) No Saab Draken?? Well, I guess we can't have it all... :)

  • Yes, the P-47 was a D. And at 1/32 scale, it was big! I had a feeling you would mention that exact plane. No Draken to be found, but I will be sending you a link to all model pics at the show so you can see the planes I missed, due to camera issues.

  • I can only imagine how many labor hours combined those pictures represented.. Really cool stuff for an aviation nut like me.

  • Ever built one Andre'? It's about a month of intense work for the detailed ones. Much easier to just download them and install them into a simulator! he he. Can't fly these either. Just for lookin'.

    love and respect

    scotty and libby:0)

  • Yeah, I have but it's been decades since I did :)

    Not enough patience....

  • A Viggen would have done nicely too.. I have got your message and the link and will reply / check it out later! Right now I'm waiting for some shopping to be delivered, so may have to leave the computer at short notice.. :) I've seen those 1/32 scale T'bolts, they're impressive.. and anything from the 56th FG will cheer me up as much as any Swedish made aircraft.. or jolly near enough, anyway! :) Especially if it's a Boxted based plane, which this one wasn't, admittedly, but it's still 56th FG..
