I LOVED your Booth! This looks like a really fun production! The Balladeer had some rhythm issues here and there, but I actually liked his voice and costume.

Actually, looking back on it, the Balladeer's voice was very similar to the voice of the guy who was in the OBC (not the one with Cerveris).

Booth was wonderful. Even with what few vocal slips there were, he kept me engaged and gave me a few chills. Major props!

@kwgybo345 please....for my sanity....not Johnny Depp for Booth please.....I love him, great actor and all that, I accepted him as Sweeney Todd because he acted it well, but let's leave the rest of Sondheim's masterpieces to people who can sing with BALLS!

I think it's genius how it sounds so much like a song of that period. (Every song in this show fits its period, though). It won't be a movie; it's just too theatrical, and film is too literal a medium to do it justice. Happy 80th, Mr. Sondheim...

The perfect cast is who played each character in the original musical. Each person in the musical is also a damn good actor.

that's what i love most about this particular musical, there are so many adaptions and variations of the characters. especially the balladeer.(the narrarator)
