In 2004, the multi-awarded UP MedChoir (SONG) had a joint concert with the equally multi-awarded UP Medrhythmics (DANCE) for the benefit of the terminally ill patients of PGH entitled Melange, French meaning mixture. It was the first time that such a collaboration happened between the two groups of the UP College of Medicine. The concert was a phenomenal success --- standing room only at the Philamlife Auditorium! UP Medchoir serenaded the audience and the UP Medrhythmics wowed (stunned? haha) them with their controversial costumes and a smorgasbord of dances from different genres -- proof of the group's flexibility and love for all types of dance. :)
This particular video contains the opening dance by the UP Medrhythmics, "Fever" by Michael Buble as well as clips shown during the concert about our group. "Fever" was a perfect opening -- the costumes used here were hardest to put on (think fishnet stockings black corset tops, kiki shorts, and jazz HEELS)!
I enlisted the help of THE Julius Agustin Ebreo, my teammate from the UP Pep Squad in Diliman, for the choreography of ALL dances in this concert :) Thanks Jules, you're a genius! :) Mwah!
i remember this..;) heheh i guested on this concert..:0
