Wow, do you have a link to that interview and/or to the scene you are talking about?
BTW, I like the play on words of your username! Escher & Etch-a-Sketch? :o)

I love that shot of them at the end of the video! Does anyone have a link to that scene?

lovely, thanks!

I love the expression on Natalia's face at 0.14. so puppy dog, with a little smile...

Yet another exceptional Bacharach song that deliciously supports so many of the Otalia scenes. You might want to listen to Diana Krall's rendition.

ah. thx much!

really nice, escher. thx :)
this is also a nice fit, music-wise, as I remember when the Bangles were first making their (sadly short-lived) splash, there was talk that Susanna Hoffs was bisexual -- this was very exciting news. However, I think it was all rumour, as didn't she soon thereafter marry and become a very conservative Christian? (totally OT, I know, and also more rumourmongering, but still, I thought it somehow relevent.) And Dusty, of course. . . :)

Where did CC say that? I've not seen/heard that interview but would love to. :)
I think Oliv.'s look at 38-39 is the most smoldering look at Natalia that I've seen in all these months.
Is that the one she meant? (It's not quite the opening scene.) If she looked at me like that I think I would spontaneously combust.
whose song is this?

This version is sung by Susanna Hoffs; it was originally sung by Dusty Springfield
