In rejecting the politics of divisiveness and jingoism, We the People moved this nation once again toward a More Perfect Union. We judged Mr. Obama based on the content of his character rather than the color of his skin, thus realizing a dream expressed some forty five years ago in a speech for the ages.
One hundred thousand people cheered as one in Grant Park, and the world cheered too, as We the People celebrated a day that will be remembered as one of our nation's finest hours.
