just got mine over the weekend and can't wait to give it a try although I have never flown an RC plane before so I'm hoping I can learn on a software simulator using my DX6i. Do you think I should get professional instruction as well?

just ordered my t-34 mentor ePTS trainer.the plane your flying is that the one with the NACA droops on the leading edge, and the 3 position flaps? how does it fly?hope to get mine soon

yeah it is a ePTS trainer. It comes with naca droops. You'll want to put the flap position down to keep you flying slower as well.
