These are dolphin trainers torturing dolphins in the Cove - 5 November 2010

This was taken in Taiji Japan. We are Cove Guardians for Sea Shepherd keeping watch over what happens at the cove.
This weekend 5/6 Nov 2010 140 dolphins were taken prisoner.56 confined to slavery.24-30 slaughtered. 54 released. Watch www.4earthlings.wordpress.com for footage of the slaughter.

I'm disgusted by the fact that people continue to go to marine parks. I'm disgusted by the fact some people aren't moved or don't care about this. I don't care whether the excuse for killing and/or capturing dolphins is 'tradition' or 'pest control' or 'saving them from the slaughter.' It's the fuel to the fire......

When will people realize that by consuming these apex predators you ingest dangerous levels of mercury! Why do you NOT understand it is wrong to tell the population that eating this meat is safe when it IS NOT! The Japanese government (not its citizens) is so greedy and feel that the ocean is theirs to empty as they wish. It is not, its also MY ocean, and YOUR ocean, and it MUST be protected from greedy governments. SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE UNSUSTAINABLE FISHING OF JAPANS GOVERNMENT.
