  • Artist and song name please. Shalom.

  • Group called Culture (classic seventies reggae vocal trio) - tune called Behold.

  • course bear in mind that i always thought that premilienl/post milleneal theology was load of crap (I was amillineal/covenantal)

  • Interesting points. Yes, we definitely need to consider what the original audience would have made of this. Then that leads on to another question - who was the original audience? Was it Israelites living in the holy land, or was it Gentiles living in Asia minor (as suggested by the opening chapters).

    BTW, I was always a solid premillennialist though a post-trib one (i.e. not the Hal Lindsay variety).

  • The 144,000 Jewish Pastors have NOT been sealed yet. The Rapture of the Bride of Christ with the Old & New Testament Saints will happen first. The 144,000 preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, along with the 2 Witnesses (Elijah & Enoch) since the Believers are with the Lord in Heaven. To ALL Christians, Jesus tells us over and over to be READY (do NOT be living in sin) & to be watching the the "signs of the times". REPENT....Do NOT be left behind to repent during the Great Tribulation.

  • @Torahrevival The original audience is a great place to start. Since John leans heavily on Daniel and Ezekiel, those in the seven churches must have been Jewish believers, along with gentiles. The 144,000 were first century Jews, commonly referred to as the firstfruits or the remnant. This group included Paul (Rom 8:23), and James (James 1:18). They were marked with a seal (Eph 1:13; Rev 7:4). There will never be another time that there can be "firstfruits."

  • @jolonui No because it sais when the Lord returns, will he find faith in the earth? And that we live int he most evil time of men yet never stopped following our LORD! YAH!!!!! No were not trinitarians, were not catholics, were not main stream christians, were none like the world. We follow the Lamb were ever he goes. Hes king of us who are spiritual Israel. And well never see death because we live through our Father the Slain lamb. Yeshua.

  • @pianokid100 Morning Star is also the reference to What Satan or Lucifer was I.E. the Morning Star. So If he was the morning star and jesus was then they are the same person. For it is G@D who creates Evil and good!

  • @phlyceo Actually Yahushua ha Maschiach,is the heir to Dawid's (david) throne,Acts 2:30,he is a flesh and blood descendent of Dawid.Remember Yahushua does the will of the Creator,his laws and statutes, are not his own but his Abba( father) who sent him.In ZecharYahu 6:12 ' is a prohecy concerning the mashiach in that passage it says 'behold the man whose name is the Branch,thats a prophecy of Yahushua the high priest and king of Yisra'El returning to rule it, 'joshua' Yahushua same hebrew name.

  • @Rick or anyone, how can Jesus be the High Priest:

    Jer 33:17 For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

    Jer 33:18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

    Jer 33:19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,

    Jer 33:20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that ther

  • @daniellachlanclark Ephraim and Joseph is the same thing

  • But! verse 4 reads "144000 sealed from EVERY tribe of the sons of Israel" so...

  • As for Dan being missing... I'm not sure. I'm not convinced by agat0r's explanation, as Judges happened long before Ezekiel - surely Ezekiel would have known what was written about Dan in Judges. I'd be fairly confident in saying the author of Revelation would have been well acquainted with the 12 tribes of Israel and who they were. The initial readers would have been familiar with the 12 tribes also. This leads me to think the omission of Dan and Ephraim is intentional.
