This is my entry for the Stories That Are With Us Forever contest. Goonies actually came out the year before I was born I think and yet it really resonates with me to this day. I feel like the movie is really about the line between having to grow up and holding on to that ability to believe in things. I think the song really speaks to that and the issue really gets to me. So hopefully you all have seen Goonies but if not watch it! It's hilarious and fun and it has booby traps and a pirate ship! What more do you need? : )
