@jackskatess There are builds kicking around, but unfortunately nothing reliable or complete enough to package up and release.

@jackskatess From a level design point of view, sure. The problems were many - the code base was new, we lost our old programmer, the bar for visuals raised... we didn't have time to do the concept any justice. I have an old build playable on an old machine, but it's without animations and rather rough.
To be honest the concept itself is no longer relevant. Since The Opera's first release there has been an influx of related media that has often achieved what we originally set out to do.

@NoonanVideo Ohhh okay, was there any sort of early-on builds that had been playable? I'd love just to test it all out. From what I read on one of the moddb posts, you got a lot done in the first day then what you had done in a few months on the HL1 engine? Thanks

@jackskatess Hi, I'm Sean Noonan (Aneurexorcyst). I was team lead of The Opera (Source) up until I put the project to rest.
Everyone moved on and there weren't enough people or time left to dedicate to any further releases.
