I'm straight but I would really have a problem if one of my kids came out to me as a christian, it would make me wonder where I failed them

AMEN...Only Jesus can clean the homos/witchcraft practitioners/cult member/pagans and others blinded by demonic forces of their sins. Gay arent hated by GOD, Jesus came to clean the gays of their sins.You may have felt you were born gay but you were born with spirits in you that are a result of the sins of your parents.Jesus can clean you of your demons if you ask.The end of the world came once (see ron wyatt noahs ark find) its coming again

@smithmen Are you crazy or something! If you are comfortable being gay I feel sorry for your soul. You don't even know when you are gonna die! You think your gonna just live nasty like that and justify it in your head and listen to other people encourage you with the same life style! It's been so interesting seeing how many negative comments/emails have been left in the past few weeks as compared to usual. The fact of the matter is this: while I don't expect everyone to share and support me and who I am what I do expect is respect like anyone else. I will not swear at you....but why were women put on this earth?? How can a man desire another man when a woman is there? The thought of another man poking me is messed up!!

Thanks for sharing this Andy! I think you and I have nearly identical backgrounds: Christian family, Christian schools, being taught that being gay is incompatible with being a Christian. At 24, I'm finally becoming comfortable with myself as a gay man. I've told a few close friends, had one relationship, and now exploring the gay "scene" in Philly :) As for now, I don't see myself telling my parents until I have a reason: aka a serious bf. Is this what finally motivated you to come out?

@smithmen being a lot more confident in myself is really what started motivating me. Being in a serious relationship was also a pretty great motivator.
