hey where can i get some drum racks like yours? Ableton does not have good presets

That helped a little. Although in the time period that it has taken you to respond to my query, I have already learned the 'jist' of it although claps aren't my strongest area but always improving. Thanks for trying to help.

You can create drum sounds in three ways:
- record them from an actual instrument or your hand tumping your chest.
- use pre-existing samples from libraries and modify them through sample editing and effect application.
- Create the sounds with a synthesizer. In Live, that would be Operator. Learning Operator or other synth is what you need in that case.

Yeah, I'm into music production and have been for quite some while and I always find it annoying to have to use sample kicks/claps/hhts. I don't like using samples.

Do you mean sound production of your own, unique drum sounds ? If so, thats not an area I'm strong in.
