This is my cat Ramesses, he's an Egyptian Mau, the same type of cat you see in Ancient Egyptian tomb paintings. The name 'Mau' is the Ancient Egyptian word for Cat, so he's really just called "Egyptian Cat." They come in 'Silver,' 'Bronze,' and 'Smoke,' he's of the last variety. Egyptian Maus are the only cat breed with naturally occurring spots (i.e. they have had them since time immemorial, they weren't bred to have spots) and they're also known for having skin flaps where their legs meet their body which is supposed to make them fast desert hunters. He has a bright white undercoat that really shows on his neck and underside. He goes by other names such as Little One, Desert Rat, and Longface. He's always thrilled to have someone pet him, he's a tremendously well behaved cat.
bless it looks a lot like my cat :) cutex

OMG He looks just like my "Chuma". Look up video "Egyptian Mau on Shower". Maus are the coolest, most beautiful cats.
