@MrUnforgiven066 How would you know he's not a musician? And even if he's not, you don't have to be so offensive. And besides, just because you don't like a certain style of music, doesn't mean you're not a musician. Jaco hates slap. Thousands of bass players around the world love Marcus Miller. Does that mean that Jaco is not a musician?

But just because he's Stanley doesn't mean that his playing will always please everyone. Some people appreciate music played in different ways, it's all subjective.

I saw Clarke live as part of the Trio! performance with Jean-Luc Ponty and Bela Fleck in Montreal 2005. I did not yet know Clarke's music (reason going: Ponty) but he sure did blow me away (the entire show did). The interaction between Clarke and Ponty was amazing! Such artists, such showmen. Fleck seems more subdued but I guess he's younger. I think it brought the best out in all of them. It was a lively repertoire and people who've seen it seem to be asking Where is the album of Trio?!

@alexowain don't get me wrong brus, i really dig stanley clarke; but in this tune he seems to go way overboard playing real quick and to me he looses that kinda 'pop' that i usually hear in his playing. i'm not saying that hes just hitting random riffs i just don't get the groove hes going for in this tune is all
