Kierstyns POV
Two days later we had the recital. It went amazingly. My dance was performed perfectly. Kelly got great video. My dance had 12 people in it. Me and a friend, Connor were the main dancers and the other 10 people danced simultaneously. We danced to the song Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Calait. I sent the video and resume to the address given on the website. Five days passed and there was no word from the director. Then eight days into the bet I got an important call. My cell started playing my ring tone, Meant to Live by Switchfoot.
Kierstyn: We were meant to live for so much more, but we lost ourselves!
I always started singing along when my phone rang. I answered it.
Kierstyn: Peace, love, and Jonas. How ya doing today?
?: Hello. Is this Kierstyn Cadwell?
Kierstyn: Yup! And you are?
?: Im Stephanie Marr.
Kierstyn: OMJ! Youre the director of Rhythm of the Night. (A/N: I hate that title but no changing it now)
Stephanie: Yes. I watched your video and read your resume. Youre very talented.
Kierstyn: Thank you.
Stephanie: I would like to meet you in person to go over your resume and some job details.
Kierstyn: Okay, but where and when?
Stephanie: Well, I was thinking we could meet tomorrow at the Sidewalk Café on Bela Street.
Kierstyn: That would be great! I was there with friends a little while ago.
Stephanie: Okay. Could we meet at 1:00 pm?
Kierstyn: I have class until 2 tomorrow. Could we do it at 2:30?
Stephanie: Sure. So, Ill see you then.
Kierstyn: Okay. Thank you sooo much!
Stephanie: Bye.
Kierstyn: Peace.
I hung up. I looked at the clock. It read 5:04pm. I grabbed my guitar and played my newest favorite song, Pocketful Of Sunshine while I jumped up and down on my bed. Suddenly Kelly and Kamryn came walking into my room. They either used their own key or the door was unlocked, again. I dropped my guitar onto my bed and jumped off my bed making a loud bang as I landed on my tip-toes.
Kelly: You left the door unlocked. Again.
Kierstyn: Whatever. GUESS WHAT?!?!
Kamryn: What? Did you find a ring in the cereal box again?
Kelly: She gets way too excited about those things.
Kierstyn: Those rings are cool!
Kamryn: So lemme see the ring. What color is this one?
Kierstyn: I didnt get another ring! Stephanie Marr called me and she wants to meet me tomorrow!
Kelly: That is freakin awesometastical! (Told you it was our word)
Kamryn: What she said!
Kierstyn: I believe it is time for some tunage.
Kelly: I believe it is.
Kamryn: Hey wheres Kozmo?
BTW Kozmo is my dog. Us three are very attached to our dogs. Kelly has a Boston Terrier named Milo. Kamryn has a tiny Chihuahua named Bella and I have a chubby little Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier mix named Kozmo.
Kierstyn: Hes downstairs watching tv.
Oh yeah, my dog likes to watch tv.
Kamryn: Oh. I wondered why he wasnt running around your room, barking and growling.
Kierstyn: Yah, I wish I could train him to calm down but I think that ship has sailed.
Kelly laughed as she put a CD in my stereo.
Kierstyn: What are you gonna play?
Kelly: Its a surprise.
Kierstyn: You know I hate surprises. Just tell me.
Kelly: Too bad. I like surprises!
She pressed play. It was acoustic guitar. I recognized the tune.
Song: If life is a game, are we players?
Maybe life is a game and were pawns.
Cause if life is a game were competing.
If life is a game can we win?
Kierstyn: Hey when did you record me singing that?
Kelly: You need to be more aware. I was hiding in your closet.
Kierstyn: Really? I didnt even hear you.
Kelly: Hence the needing to be more aware.
