I love this tune...it makes me wonder what could have been had they completed it...Midnight Moonlight is a decent tune, but it is just missing something....but i always wondered how it would have sounded if it had been completed back in the Physical Graffiti years, with the band at the peak of its powers.
This song always makes me a bit wistful, and i guess that is the beauty and mystery of it.

@LedZeppelinHD I'm not sure if your videos even real he says like four words at the beginning, and it's the version of swan song that sounded to me like a step back because it sounded nothing like mid night moonlight. The other thing those four words were taken from since I've been Loving you seriously thats exactly wut it sounds like.

this is the full version of the song but the firm recorded this song as midnight moonlight I think on deathwish but Im not sure.

@jambi111 it was never completed, eventually after zepp broke up Page went to the firm and re recorded it as midnight moonlight.

If I am not mistaken, this is Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham working out a piece called Swansong. It was never completed with Led Zeppelin and it turned up on The Firms first album entitled "Midnight Moonlight".
