@7eyedviper Humans are nothing without their high tech weapons. most large predatory animals could easily pick us off. Many people died during old century whaling because they had to be in the water with these giants and that is one heck of a daring risk to do such thing. I understand that it was a way of life then. But in the 21st century it's not something needed. Eradicating a large species can have huge consequences. Without a ballanced ocean life means no life for land species.

@7eyedviper Man you have the worst ego trip ever. You say you understand your natural role by hunting, killing and eating. Good for you. But as for being top of the chain comes responsibility. You think killing a colossal creature with an exploding harpoon isn't a pansy process? The only reason is because it's easier to kill and that if they were to hunt traditionally in small boats it would take 4 or 5 harpoons to make a kill and by then the whale would be pissed and destroy them.

This is just awful, not only is whaling damaging for the Eco system, but I hear whales have an awful smell, and the smell can carry on to the whalers, if most people In the town were whalers, It would be disgusting!
