@TH4TGUy617 I think 2nd to 5th is still a really common mistake, but this mustang went from 2nd to 3rd. The problem is that he was spinning the tires through the first 2 gears and shifted to 3rd at only like 20 mph and bogged it down bigtime lol.

And I agree with everyone else, 14.96 is pretty slow for a 3.5 Maxima. Terrible runs for both of these guys

It's obvious the guy in the mustang didn't know what he was doing. RWD Mustang GT will ALWAYS be superior to some wrong-wheel-drive V6 maxima. Lol, just lol.

i own 03 maxima with 3.5 and i know it's fucking fast as hell but when i see this video before the race, i go "of course, mustang gt is gonna win this race" then i realized mustang has very shitty driver so in this race, maxima had a big advantage and it doesn't matter how shitty or good driver is, win is a win so maxima beats mustang gt does count.. mustang drivers, i'm sorry and you guys be mad at this shitty driver for letting a maxima smoked mustang

14 sec q/m is slow as fuck. that mustang with a good driver should have pulled at least a 13.5 if not faster. props to the nissan for winning and this just goes to show that when your drag racing, an auto is almost always better. ps. slap some nitrous on that nissan and then race them and see what happens

I love Maxima's, but lets be honest here. A Mustang GT (2005 and up) will walk a Maxima with only a block off plate and forced intake, but of course good shifting is 3/4th of the battle. . .
