Wonder why this is "Ukrainian" both Byelorussians and Russians do the same thing. One thing is for sure Bluwho, nobody makes bread as good as the Ukrainians. It's addictive.
Russians don't traditionally make pysanky, except for ethnic Ukrainians within Russia. Belarussians make their own version of pysanky, as do many other slavs. They differ in traditional patterns and motifs, and level of intricacy.
