  • thats happing to me with my w730k8x laptop modle

  • Or just clean and check the memory as well .

  • Dried up thermal grease. Solved problem for me by applying fresh grease.

  • this type of shit is common for gateways. i have a desktop that wont boot. use to sometimes take a few(or a bunch of) tries but now it wont boot at all. led on bezel indicates power, fans spin just nothing else. fuck gateway. i hope you didnt pay much for that motherboard. never be tempted by the bang for the buck gateways with their poor products and even worse customer service. bah

  • @JRelax thanks for the info!... looks like ima have to replace the motherboard as well...

  • I pulled out the harddrive today and booted right into the bios, it's been runing for the last 2 hours with no reboot. I'm sure that my problem is a bad harddrive, atleast I hope thats the problem. Anyway I'm buying a new harddrive in acouple weeks along with a external drive enclosure. lol

  • Mine started to do something like this 2 weeks ago. Sometimes it would boot to windows and run for a day or two then shut off, other times it would just keep rebooting. I had a bad hard drive less than a month after I bought it, and it was doing the same thing as it's doing now. So I think my problem is a bad harddrive, if I'm wrong and it's a motherboard issue, IMO it's not worth fixing. I can just put a few dollars more and get a new better laptop.
