Yesterday I went to the doctors to get my stiches out and get a look at what my new face will look like. It is quite swollen still and there is still bruising, but for the most part, this is what my new face will look like. I MISS MY SMILE!!! The doctor told me that with in a few weeks, I will have my old smile back. Sorry I didn't post yesterday... we got back from the doctors late and it took a while for me to adjust to my new face and feel comfortable posting about it.

The doctor who did my procedure was Dr. Kennedy from the Institute of Cosmetic and Facial Surgery. He was absolutely amazing and LOVES doing work on noses. He also instructs other doctors and continues to do research and publish his findings. They also have an out patient facility at their office where you can stay and be taken care of by nurses 24 hours a day at a very reasonable rate. You can visit their website at http://www.ifcsutah.com/ .

  • Holy cow you look amazing! How did you pay for it? I'd like work done too

  • @cocowut If you are lucky you could qualify for financing. Otherwise, I guess setting aside money would be another option. Also, tax returns help a lot. :)

  • Hey, was this done by an incision under the chin or inside the mouth?

  • @gkapri The chin work was done with an incision inside the mouth.

  • Thanks soooo much for your post! I just had a chin implant done and you're the only person I can find on the web who showed what it actually looks like after 4-5 days after surgery... I'm over here freaking out because my face is swollen and my chin looks huge, i can't close my mouth... I look like a cartoon!!! But I see your chin is swollen here but on your 11 month it went down a lot.... I actually started crying today thinking what did i do to myself..... did that happen to u?

  • @khristyle2 Hey! I totally went through the same kind of emotions. I was really scared that I had changed my face in a way that I wasn't expecting. The swelling in your face will decrease a lot in the next few months and will continue to decrease during the next year. I posted a slideshow of what my face looked like at about 3 months post surgery. Check it out and I hope it gives you a lot more confidence. :) Congradulations on your surgery! I am excited for you! Let me know how it goes!

  • There was nothing wrong with you chin before. Now it looks too big, why would you get cheek implants your cheeks were big to begin with.

  • I dont understand why you American woman feel so ugly that most of you feel the need to mess up your faces, brests and whole body. Escpecially you young girls, what is wrong with the American culture that it so important to disfigure yourselves in the name of beauty cause it ain't beautiful, it is pathetic and scary............brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

  • thank you for this video blog. I'm actually scheduled for surgery next week on Wednesday and I just found out I will have some relatives coming in from out of town the following week. I am scared that I will be "discovered". This blog helps a lot, if this is what you look like day 3 or day 4 after surgery then you looked very well despite the swelling. thanks for doing this blog.

  • With all that money spent on Cosmetic surgery, you could have instead seen a psychologist and gain SELF CONFIDENCE! Once you start changing your face, you will continue to go under the knife.

  • @MissJenny74 "You American women"?

Umm... I've been all over this country and this is NOT typical. What's wrong with YOUR culture? Because obviously you are extremely ignorant to assume such things.

  • sorry! you are still fugly, only God can give beauty, surgeon can only correct

  • @KarahGray : You look gorgeous with your new face. I'm amazed how naturally looking after cosmetic surgery. Anyway, I just had eyelid surgery two weeks ago. And I'm still waiting for my eyes to even out. Both eyelids have assymetry issues. My right side is drooping. My left side have eyelashes that point in all directions. I look like a freak. Do you think it's too soon to judge the success or failure of my eyelid surgery?

  • lmfao look at that bitch try to smile

  • karah... i liked watching your videos. I started my vlog yesterday.... chin implant/neck lipo recovery.

  • ew

  • u look nice, worth a squirt as they say.

often people end up looking worse and they age wrongly and just look odd like most american celebrities with glowing teeth.

Its body dysmorphia most cases I think, people look just fine to start with.

  • this is sickening. You need mental help, no amount of surgery can make you happy. You are supporting woman's insecurities.
