at the start, does anyone else think she looks a bit like Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasly from Harry Potter)
and what was the point of making Cate's voice come out of a supposidly 7 year old girl (and if Elle was supposed to "look" 7, the casting director went for a name and not the look) :)

Aaaahhh, the roaring '20's. The world where people were people and children were children. Children and their parents spent time together, whether it was READING, telling STORIES, or playing board games like chess. Not too far in the near distant future EVERYONE would start being distracted with first their television, then their computers, then their, cell phones, then their iPod, and finally, their iPhone!

Pitt, Blanchet and this girl Fanning

The voice thing is creepy. I love her, but I wish they hadn't done that.

The mature woman's voice coming out of a 6 year old is the creepiest part of this movie.

Yes, this is her real voice. When she was younger her voice sounds better.
