  • Living down here in the Deep South, I know I didn't hear a whole lotta Bauhaus or J&MC on mainstream radio. REOJourneyWagon fer sure, but not a lot else. Glad your experience was much better.

And yeah, if you don't like this particular single, if the initiative is successful, then I'm sure they'll be others. Better luck next time!

This first-out effort is really one of those "the medium IS the message" kinda deals. Test those social media waters.

  • What if they suck?

  • Black Lab sounds good. I'm down with BRTC.

  • yeah, right. You're REALLY changing things by buying a song by one band. You're REALLY showing that you can choose your own music by buying music that someone told you to buy. All you're doing is, potentially, giving Black Lab some publicity and causing them to be popular.

  • you said the band probably wasn't played on mainstream radio even once... has the mainstream radio ever played /anything/ just one time? :) they tend to play the same garbage over and over. and over.

  • love your love for music ...

my ipod is filled with great music no one is listening too...

loved the 80's & there is great new music out there that desereve to be heard

    thnx cool soccer mom

im buying the single ...hope its good

  • were we meant to purchase it on 21st to get it onto the 22nd charts? i bought it today but i did not know if i was meant to buy it today or 22nd

Bonus is the song is not a bad song thank god

  • You just have to support this initiative. This could change the Music industry for the better. What better thing to do on a Thursday than "Stick it to the Man".

Even if you don't like the song!

    I'm in, are you?

  • hahaha! your violent femmes joke was hillarious!

'high land hard rain' rocked my world in high school. jesus and mary chain got a lotta play on our big local station, kroq, as did peter murphy and some of the other bands you referenced. all good stuff, to be sure.

i just wish i liked that song on brtc...
