The wood. The thorns. The nails. Christ's sacrifice has defined the very essence of mankind's faith for the past 2000 years. And now, Max Lucado invites you to examine the cross, contemplate its purpose, and celebrate its significance with He Chose the Nails. With his warm, caring style, Max examines the symbols surrounding Christ's crucifixion, revealing the claims of the cross and asserting that if they are true, then Christianity itself is true. The supporting evidence either makes the cross the single biggest hoax of all time, or the hope of all humanity.
Listen to the audiobook He Choose the Nails. If God is calling to you, this book will change you. It will cause you to ponder what Christ went thru, by choice, for us.

If he really chose the nails, why were soldiers needed to keep him from walking away and doing something else, like continue to live his life? He was executed by a governor because he brought a little hope to local peasants.. A dictator rules off of fear, almost the way the bible does with that salvation b.s.

Jimmyjoe441, I pray that you see the truth and light of Jesus Christ. He is there with you in your darkness, just waiting for you to reach out to him. I'l tell you what is the hoax, the hoax is whatever it is that blinded you from the truth. How could one poor carpenter born in an animal enclosure revolutionize the world and not be from God Almighty?

Were you baptized INTO His death (Rom. 6:3-4) and by doing so had your sins washed away (Acts 22:16)?
