Goodbye, David Tennant.

On 29 October 2008, David Tennant officially announced that he would be leaving Doctor Who after the final special in 2009, stepping off with the showrunner, Russel T. Davies.
Tennant made the announcement over a live video feed from Stratford-von-Avon (where he was preforming "Hamlet") after he won the National Television Award for Best Actor for the third consecutive year.

I am wholeheartedly still depressed.
Was feeling a bit emo, made a tribute.
Enough said.

I had initially hoped to make a video to the full song, but I shortened it for a two reasons. First off, it was turning into a bit of a Doctor/Rose tribute. And the second was that I couldn't really see through my tears very well.

I don't think this came out very well, but I wasn't in my best frame of mind while making it, so that is to be expected. It might just be a massive rip-off of the beautiful tribute made by xxelm0xx (which this video is posted as a responce to), for which I offer the most sincere of apologies.

Before I voice my, albeit unpopular, opinion about Matt, I'd like to point out that this wasn't intent on being a year later my whinging about David no longer being on the series. The date on this video is 6 December 2008.

To be honest, I still don't particularly like Matt.But it's not something I'm whinging about.

I still miss him, Matt's a good actor, but he's just not the Doctor...sort of how I felt about Peter Davison...fantastic actor, but I couldn't picture him, ever, as the Doctor...but heck, David gave Peter a granddaughter!

I've watched his regeneration six times, I've seen every sad Doctor Who/Tenth Tribute I can possibly stand in one sitting, but the minute I watched this, the first few seconds, when David's saying goodbye, I started bawling. The crowd's reaction, and his voice, and his reassurance that it will be all right... God, I'm such a loser.

i loved david tennant as he doctor and im new to watching the seirs to he was my first doctor i saw and when i found out he was leaving i was balling my eyes out!!! i hate mat smith he is NOT the doctor like david was but still i also love him in fright nite hes a good looking guy XD
