That would have been great. However, if most or all of the names were crossed off, Danny Mcgrath wouldn't of been around to save Billy Madison at the end when Danny went on his quest to find the people on his list to kill and he luckily found Billy to save from Eric.

The thing that happened was that Billy Madison used to be a bully to the guy here named Danny Mcgrath back when they were both in High School, and now Billy is calling up Danny to apologize for being a bully to him ten years ago since Billy is being bullied by people in High School now. So now Danny decided not to kill Billy just for apologizing which is why he crossed his name off the list, and when Danny was on his quest to kill everyone on his list, he saved Billy at the end.

Jeez, was it really necessary to thumbs down my comment to the point where it says "This comment has received too many negative votes"? I never saw Billy Madison in entirety, so this didn't make sense at first. :/

Basically, Adam Sandler's character calls up Steve Buscemi's character, and apologizes for being such a bully to him back in high school, and offers to treat him to lunch / coffee. Steve having a "People To Kill" list, and putting on lipstick implies that Sandler tormented Buscemi so badly in school, that it mentally scarred him to the point where he vowed to get back at those who tormented him for years (hence the "Kill" list), and even scarred his sexual identity (hence the lipstick).
