While I tend to believe that few wanted to run with McCain, I disagree that Palin is retarded. Retardation is a severe disability, and I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that there have been zero retarded persons elected gov. She must be smart; and so my conclusion is that she simply is not yet case-hardened, and was pretty much thrown to the wolves by the RNC. Maybe they were overly confident that the "pretty" factor would take her all the way. Better luck to her in '12. I still believe in her.

Prime example of where the true ineptitude with Palin's handling lay -- the filming of this went on far too long for even the most inept camara "person" to realize and correct--or just fucking STOP. But, as usual, the onus is on Palin. I am more and more convinced that the pubs were determined from the beginning to "throw" the entire election. Perhaps the greatest and most successful conspiracy since Watergate.

interesting you should mention the "pubs" throwing the election. i made a similar statement upon mccains selection of this moron for VP. my logic was that nobody wanted to run alongside mccain because it was a loose loose situation after the bush admin.
palins ineptitude isnt primarily due to mishandling. she is clearly retarded. really, it doesnt take a paid handler to make one aware that there is a turkey being slaughtered just over your shoulder while youre broadcasting publicly. or does it?
