Gingerbread Haka

Our national Maori haka, which is normally done by NZ players in an international sports match, performed by gingerbread men as an advert to encourage bakers to enter a bakery competition. The first part is the leader/captain telling his team what to do (basically slap your thighs hard and stuff) and here are the words in Maori to the main part of the haka:

Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora!
Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora!

Tenei te tangata puhuru huru
Nana nei i tiki mai whakawhiti te ra

A upane! ka upane!
A upane kaupane whiti te ra!
Hi!!
