Ah, la belle époque...

el cabaret mas hermoso del mundo!

C'est beau, on se croirait transporté dans cet univers parisien de fin du XIX ième siècle.

@TehSalomon I am starting to read it, it's not that difficult. You just need practice

This is a wonderful thing! Lovely, haunting memories of cold, autumnal afternoons with close friends....bike rides, carnivals, dogs wagging their tails at your ankles, flag football, leaves....like the accompiniment of a silent 8mm movie. Something about this piece and your wonderful interpretion fills my eyes with tears and heart with mournful longing

This is by far the best interpretation of this piece I've heard. You so beautifully told the story of this piece and made me feel like I was back 100 years ago in France. I have arranged this piece for right hand piano and this really helped me in understanding what this piece is all about, especially in terms of arranging voices and lines for right hand only. great work!!!!

@TehSalomon No it isn't; you just don't know how to read it. The multiple voicings are probably what confuse you.

I saw sheets for Je Te Veux and you know what?

A beautiful performance..I think you captured it perfectly. A lot of the beauty of it has to do with nuance...the slight retards and hesitations make it as intimate as a whispered conversation, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

@DavidCKendall Thank you for your kind comment. I am so pleased to hear that.
The performance was about 7 years ago. After this, I haven't played it, but I want to play it again one day.
Thanks a lot to you !!

Surprisingly it your second most watched video, and the music is quite simple, it is a song. Bach, Chopin and Liszt are too refined for the general public, they want to hear songs, not masterpieces.
I think that Satie is a genius but he was quite strange man: he was not attracted to women, only to music!

@uutbchh Hi, Ray. Yes, I am also surprised this is the second most watched one.
Simple music is difficult to play, like Clair de Lune by Debussy, Traumerei by Schumann, and Moonlight Sonata 1st mov. by Beethoven.( For Elise by Beethoven, too!)
I agree that Satie is a quite strange man. hahaha...
