Steve why oh why didn't you take your musical talent seriously years ago? This music is your best work. I am so glad people like you revive Bluegrass.

See, it's because videos like this only get 70,000~ views and Kesha/Lady Gaga/Justin Bieber/FlavaFlav/ect./ect get millions of views that I changed my position on theology from regular atheism to positive atheism... it's conclusive proof there is no god... luckily we still have Steve Martin, who's a pretty good proxy for a deity ^.^

His new bluegrass album with Edie Brickell is the best thing he's done, so the critics are saying.

I actually think it's better this way, and that he's in his bluegrass prime. Because, hes making music from the perspective of an old guy with fermented banjo skills and LOTS of life experience to draw from. If he was younger, he probably would've been more "ambitious", and his music might've sounded try-hard and sucked. Anyways, this Steve is fuckin great, so I'm not complaining lol.

I've got to say dude, Flava Flav is an awful reference for pop culture, but I agree with what you're saying.

Steve's a proxy for something all right - but not that.
