This is the version I have (I think) don't have the lable to hand but its Steve Reich and musicians playing from 1973 - its my favourite, very gentle and contemplative.

Beautiful images ... this is my one most favorite piece by Steve Reich ... just a tidbit, this is an excerpt of a much longer piece (lasts ca. 15 minutes) ... pure bliss

Well, I took it from Steve Reich Variations Album label by Deutsche Grammophon 1974. Perhaps Steve Reich made another version of it.

Hi Amistry thanks for your comment, well this version specifically was played by Steve Reich and musicians. This is the ensemble for the original recording.
