Cause of Las Pinas Traffic, Philippines Vid 1

this is the main cause of traffic at the ceciles intersection in las pinas. its the traffic lights! i had brought this up a million of times to the local government but they seem to take no action. therefore, i decided to expose this to the whole world, maybe someone will take action!

this was taken last feb 25, a non-working holiday. all the roads were almost blank except for this. i was stuck in traffic for 20 minutes! again, the culprit was the traffic light in that particular intersection. even as late as 11pm when Alabang Zapote rd is smooth and driving would be a breeze, once you approach that Ceciles intersection (Alabang-Zapote rd & Casimiro), the traffic is terrible. At times, the police would shut off those traffic lights at rush hour and oh my, no traffic at all!

Video 1: I took this after 3 minutes when the light turned red. Notie how long it takes to turn green. Then I will focus the cam on the other lane and take a look on how terrible the traffic is!

Video 2: This is proof how blank the road is! Very few cars where on the road that day!

Mayor Aguilar, sorry I had to expose this to the world. The local government seem not to take action and just laughs off my comments.

OK, so if you take away the traffic lights, then what will happen? Aren't traffic lights set up at intersections to allow vehicles from all directions to cross at some point? Are you proposing a free for all? Seems to me from my experience, when there are no traffic lights then there is total chaos and drivers nearly collide in trying to beat each other upon approaching intersections. A traffic engineer step in and address this situation as just doing away with traffic lights isn't the solution.

From the time they took out the traffic lights, the traffic police took over. There was a really great improvement and now, traffic does not lasts anymore till 11:30pm since it was switched off

Nope, wala. Even at 11:30pm when all the other intersections are blank, saksakan pa ren ng traffic sa ceciles! kakaiba! pero one time pinatay ang traffic lights, pati ang traffic nawala. kelangan nila talaga ayusin ang timing nyan. isipin mo, holiday, walang kakotse kotse sobra ang traffic nakaka bad trip! at diyan lang sa ceciles. sa iba wala! kita naman sa video ko.

sa lahat pinaka traffic sa metro manila Las PInas pinaka problema sa Traffic maski noon pa!!! kasi naman Monopolize na ni Aguilar and Villar yang Lugar na yan P@#$@ nila tuwing pupunta ako dito sa Las Pinas ganito lagi ang problema ko traffic p#$%&@ yan kulang talaga sa Urban Planning Talaga ang Las Pinas yung mga ibang kalye dyn sa Las Pinas lubak lubak pa walang warning sign naka lagay kung may butas ang kalye kulang din ang Las PInas sa Commercial Centers panay subdivision pina patayo dyn.

Not here they arent. But to hell with traffic lights, the problem is the width of the road. Most times of the day there is simply too much traffic. The traffic officers have one entire lane stop, while the oncoming traffic takes up extra lanes. The first time I was in a cab heading into oncoming traffic, I almost crapped myself!

cause of laspinas traffic jam is one thing!!! CAR VOLUME FUNNELED INTO A SINGLE MAIN THOROUGHFARE...You dont need to do extenssive reaseach to know that nor that it take the brains of a rocket scientist to figure that out...hay naku!

di po kasi para sa lahat ang friendship route. mga taga LP lang ang binibigyan ng friendship sticker. siyempre di lang naman mga taga LP dumadaan diyan.

Ang naging problema talaga ng LP eh kakulangan sa tamang urban planning. Manu mo iilan lang ang main road kakikitid pa.

gumagana pala yung traffic lights dun? ang pagkakaalam ko traffice enforcers lang ang nasa intersection na yan at sila ang nagdidirect ng traffic. kaya nga nakakapag buhos sila dyan. kung gumagana man yung traffic lights, its for no purpose at all, kasi nga yung mga traffic enforcer ang may hawak ng sitwasyon.
