I don't get why expressing one's religion fragments society. Shouldn't we create awareness of diversity in schools? There is no point in masking our differences.

Parents are responsible for their children thats why they can make them wear the hiyab...and the point here is not wether Islam obliges little one to wear it or not, the important thing here, is the discrimination against muslims and how oppressive are these secular governments...
