They weren't winning on all fronts. They had major setbacks in the West, Ft Henry and Ft Donelson, Shiloh, Vicksburg, all pre-Gettysburg.

...that embaresed both the Union and the Confederacy. Niether of them used picket lines (scouts) during the charge. And to make it more real, there sould've been a cannonade woth rockets, or something.

You know, thats an incredible ingnorent remarke. Infact the south was not given an "asswhooping" by the north. The south was acttuly winning the war on all fronts for the first two years of the war. The major turning point was this battle, Gettysburg. by the way the south were winning this battle for the first two days, and they were finally pushed back by pickett's charge. If it haden't been fot this battle the south would of marched on Washinton in months and would of brought an end to the war
