About 200 women, men, young people and children turned up on the evening of International Women's Day for the annual Reclaim the Night March through Suva City.
Organised by the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre, the marchers demanded safe streets, homes, schools, workplaces, villages, policing and nightclubs for women and girls.
The march began at Suva's Flea Market, went through some of the darkest parts of Suva at night and along Victoria Parade before ending at the steps of Government Buildings.
