This is probably my favourite song of all time. Beautiful melody, and heart-wrenching lyrics... written by one of the most talented artists out there.

*sigh* It just gets to you!!!

I recorded this video a couple of months ago, and thought it was about time to upload it :)

Please excuse that C# HIGH NOTE though, its at the top of my chest voice range, so its hard to make sound as nice as Ms Bareillies can!

I know its not perfect, but i love this song so much, I just had to cover it. Also Im sorry the instrumental isnt louder! I wish it were!!!

You have a beautiful voice. In the beginning, your phrasing was superb, much as Sarah's is in the song...you lose the phrasing at the bridge, and fall into the pit that many other singers do: sacrifice the emotion and showcasing your great vocal ability.

Try to "feel" the whole song, remember...phrasing is what makes Sarah's version so stellar and you definitely have the vocal capabilities to command the same performance.

Overall, a super rendition of Sarah's song.

Respond to this video... Sometimes a singer can be their own worst enemy, so appreciate the fact that others find your voice exceptional. You ARE a great singer! Always remember to "feel" your song, connect with the words. This will make you the best you can be!

@monicaxix : Sometimes a person can be their worst critic. Trust me I know! I spent all my 20s and 30s not realizing that I had a very good voice, which unfortunately is now having major issues! I wish I had appreciated my talent earlier, when it was strong.
