In the fall of 2003, producers for the Discovery Channel show "DIRTY JOBS" contacted controversial artist Stephen Paternite, inviting him to participate in a new television series showcasing a variety of difficult and often distasteful jobs. They had witnessed his unique Roadkill Ceations on his website and wanted a hands-on demonstration of his craft. The segment was to have host Mike Rowe assist Stephen in the procurement and creation of a new artwork. It was indeed to be a "Dirty Job". This DVD is the original, uncut episode of "Dirty Jobs." An episode ultimately rejected by the network. An episode now notoriously deemed:

"TOO GROSS FOR DISCOVERY."

  • @evilkat4425 So we have to impose the unnecessarily complicated burial/cremation ritual with no function but closure for humans onto animals who themselves would leave their dead in a pile of shit if that's where they happened to die? Your view is skewed dude. It was a living creature, now it is lifeless material.

  • I remember working at the zoo. They sold chicken nuggets there shaped like elephants and monkeys and what not. Now this is definitely off, but somehow it's perfectly normal to murder a bunch of chickens, grind their flesh indiscriminately and press it into the shape of a different animal. To eat. I'd say this guy just isn't grossed out by 'dead things' like we're taught.

  • Something about this is just disturbing to me.. like it's just unnatural to me that he's combining the heads of other animals onto these first animals and stuff I don't know why it just feels really really wrong I can't even keep watching I dont know why...

  • LOLLL "hmm..this would look good with a baby doll head."

  • Haha I want the "kiddie kat"

  • Some people would actually want to buy some of those weird things...

  • i liked the wolf wearing itself as a jacket... looked cool. Other than that, everyone point and laugh.
