I agree totally with you : as you can see, Ludwig van Beethoven is 241 years old (since December 17th) but he is still so young as Peraand his music too ! Perahia would have made an amazing impression on Beethoven.

@MrOnTheLevel - Indeed, a lot of the WoO stuff is fragmentary, ephemeral or just weird, like WoO 1, "Musik zu einem Ritterballett," or "Music for a ballet on horseback" (for a dressage class?). But WoO 57 is the interesting "Andante favori" for piano, a fine rondo with variations excised from the over-lengthy initial draft of the "Waldstein" Sonata, so perhaps not all WoO pieces are duds. Maybe these 32 variations got laid aside after a tiff with his publisher, not unheard-of with Ludwig.
