  • As a Canadian and your neighbor, I was delighted to hear Mr. Obama address the issue of early childhood education as it seems to us across the border that other U.S. presidents did not even know the term ECE!

  • It is such a please to see our new leader realizing the importance of early childhood efforts.

  • Why don't people self educate themselves?

  • What about mat and science lol

  • Under Obama government or not, the best cure to whatever we rant about our our very own new ideas. We as citizens and tax payers, should come up with some solution to what we see and them bring them to the table. As for childhood education, though undeniably a lot of children fall behind the norm-referenced benchmark, we have children who succeed beyond our high expectations. Research on this phenomenon must be encouraged.

  • @drkmbrown so yes sorry that I didn't add anything to the discussion.. but I believe all of this to be Obama paying lip service to real issues while doing nothing about them. He is a PR president, after cowboy Bush they needed a charismatic strong capable masthead with which to lull us to sleep with sweet dreams of being able to just let our government take care of us. The actual policies regarding education the OA have set in motion are very regressive.

  • @drkmbrown A drunken rant.. I am just sick of pretending that the president is anything but a Neo-con/lib lackey.. that is why I don't give a damn about his views on really anything. He is a very talented speaker and can more often than not say the right thing at the right time.. but this supposed leader fails to be anything more than a highly paid actor while his administration completes the wishlist set up by the people who rigg our economy and control our puppet government.

  • @NinJavaisDotAnoobLOL

Did you really just say this on a channel dealing with early childhood? You are an idiot, or callous (though now that I think of it, the 2 are usually in close association).

  • yeah, lets help those teen parents before their pregnancy... oh, wait...
