  • Having trouble recording on mac with mix deck and scratch pro....ive tried everything and made a video on my page to explain problem....when i playback recording, i can hear BOTH tracks..please help...THANKS

  • @MrBackToTheLab > You can either find someone who uses a MixDeck and ask them (because I don't and am not familiar with it) or get some Pioneer gear, in which case I'm certainly capable of helping. :)

  • @atrin90 > No, you don't need an external soundcard; follow the steps in the video and it will work.

  • Thanks pal!

  • @ilasik11 > Yes; simply connect everything as described in the video and select the input as the return from the 2000 as the recorder source within Traktor. Keep in mind you're now running two applications instead of one and you might be better off recording to a lighter-weight program like Audacity (free).

  • Yes, thanks, that works, I am using the SL3 - but is there any way I can record with USB? the way you are with Traktor?

  • @ilasik11 > You can record within Serato if using an SL3 or SL4 box, just connect the REC-out from the mixer to the AUX-in on the SL box.

  • Very informative.

I would much appreciate if you can show me how to do this with Serato. The advanced HID is great with Serato, just wish I could record.

The only option I see to record with Serato is connecting DJM 2000 output to the Aux 3 input.
