I don't feel guilty. I have the motivation, but not the means and power to change the world. The people who do have the power and means, but not the motivation, should be feeling guilty, but they don't. They should feel ashamed, but they don't.

To those with the power and the means: be careful. Someday those with motivation will take your power and means and it won't be nice for you. This isn't a threat, it's history and you'd be better off learning it, or perish in repetition.

@delerium2k When money and possession is the only goal, and an indifference or even contempt to human life is expressly part of the mechanism, then it cannot end in anything but tyranny, really. Alas, the people who started capitalism a la mercantilism were not benevolent souls, they just didn't have lands to be feudal lords too, so they appealed to the courts and church to allow mercantilism / profit. Well, here we are. Where next? Strive to be selfless and compassionate. That is progress.
