Just because you dont see homeless people on the streets does not mean that they dont exist in your community.
Thats one of the major lessons I hope people learn from the InvisiblePeople.tv Road Trip. This weekend I visited Fayetteville, Arkansas, a small town of roughly 70,000 people. From the outside, it seems like the perfect place to settle down and raise a family. But within the town boundaries, hidden in campsites in wooded areas, 50-80 homeless people reside in small encampments.
Tom is one of those campers. He says his story is common. Five years ago, he came home from work to find that his wife had packed up everything and left him. He got drunk and missed work. The next day, he was fired and just a month later, he was homeless.
If there is a silver lining in Toms story, it is that he holds on to hope for a better future. While he is quick to acknowledge how difficult and depressing his situation is, he said wont stop trying to get out of it.
No matter where you are reading this, homelessness is only a few miles away.

@Acoontey I'm guessing you don't know what you're talking about, as this is the only account I have.
What's wrong, being called a bully hurts? Perhaps you should think about that!

@breetin x.x I'm guessing this is the same person who created another account based on the way you talk.

@breetin Thanks, budy I think you know what I'm saying to this young man. I find myself challenging the youth of today because many of them lack basic morals and values.
A person that wrote a book about the concentration camps said that the route of evil is a lack of empathy.
Bullies have caused MANY of the school shootings so I wanted this school bully to know that his behavior can get his friends killed.
This foolish young man feels entitled to pick on someone to feel better ?

"No matter where you are reading this, homelessness is only a few miles away", this is so true!
Thank you for all the vids you post. Hopefully they will make people realize that this could be me, you, anyone really. Also, try and donate to your local shelters, food-banks, ect. And if by chance you see someone holding a sign, "will work for food", give them some money, whatever you can afford.

@Acoontey Are you stll whinning about this. OK,play semantics. If you havn't walked in someones shoes you can't feel empathy....BUT...you can feel sympathy...right
Sounds more like you are a bully that is insecure and you want to RATIONALIZE your behavior.
It's ok ,we will give you a pass from society so that you can bully people that you don't have any feelings for.
Just explain to people that you are a scoiopath and you can't feel other peoples pain.
WERE YOU RAISED BY WOLVES ?

@RETIREMESOON x.x...you don't understand what empathy is do you...?
Acoontey 1 year ago
BY the way Acoontney you were 13 in grade 8 so you should have had EMPATHY training 7 to 9 years _____EARLIER___. If you had empathy you would not be immature and bully a person at school.
Why don't you appoligize to your victim and be a man and not a bully.
What if this victim of yours puts you in a wheel chair or sues you for crimminal harrassment.Since your actions are crimminal and illegal I would say your parents did a poor job :0(
