Unfortunately, at some point the sound and sight in some of my videos were shifted relative to each other, with the video going much faster than the sound! It must be a problem at YouTube because this video worked for years!

Here is my second video on teaching with YouTube. (I have been asked to talk to other teachers about it 3 times now, so it's time for a couple of videos.) I filmed this one in my office after the most recent lecture. And after posting one I made during a lecture to a teaching workshop. This time I am answering specific questions from Leslie at the UCDavis Teaching Resources Center. I say basically the same things again, but just take longer this time.

(P.S.: This took me less than 20 minutes to film and edit, but it took 17 minutes for iMovie to export it, and it will take a bit more time for YouTube to process it. Total active time from me: probably 25 minutes.)

  • i passed geography because of you thank you very very much

  • @cucupuffs Actually, you passed geography because you learned the material and could demonstrate it on your class assignments. It's great that you found my videos, and they helped you learn. That's what they are there for. However, it is you that took the time to watch the relevant ones and learn what you needed to know. You took the responsibility for your own education by finding the materials you needed to understand the material. Congratulations! That's the best way to learn.
