Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force (PS2) Gameplay (Dual Shock 2 play)

I previously uploaded a vid of me playing the PS2 version of this game using a keyboard and mouse combo, and it chugged horribly. Though this game supports the keyboard and mouse, the fast movement of the mouse makes the game run like poop.

Here's a vid of me playing with the Dual Shock 2, and as you can see, it's a lot smoother. Of course it still chugs a little, but the game is a lot better when you use the controller. It's less accurate in aiming, but a lot smoother playing.

Overall, I find this game to be decent, but there are a quite a few PS2 FPS games I'd suggest to you over this one.

How come your life is so high, mine was 100 max throughout the game.

I keep seeing this game at Gamestop for like 5 or 6 bucks and I always pass it up and I think I will continue to do so. It seems very average at best. Nice vid as always though.

It's decent. For $5 or $6 it wouldn't be a terrible buy, but it's not going to set your world on fire either.

@Arcadia117 PC is the only system you should play any star trek game on. Trust me. Also search youtube for Elite force RPG X. PS2 can't do that.

I was very disappointed of this port. Is a fantastic game on PC, but PS2 version is choppy as hell and i played with controller. The graphics are terrible too. Return to castle Wolfenstein is far much better port and is very smooth with good graphics than this. Of course i bought PC version again.

I think a better port could have been done with the Xbox or even the Dreamcast (though the game was released late in the DCs life, but would have come pretty fast since this game is Quake III mixed with Star Trek), better graphics and 4-16 player death match over LAN or Xbox Live.

I want more Star Trek FPS games with deathmatch. I guess the best I can get at this point is GMOD with star trek addons installed.
