Nathan and Haley--All I Wanna Do

Haley is dating Lucas, but one night after a fight she goes out with Peyton and Brooke. Nathan is walking out in the rain and Haley offers to drive him home, even though she knows he and Lucas can't stand one another. On the way to his house, she thinks back to the first time she and Lucas slept together, and then she finds herself stopping at a hotel with Nathan.

Lucas knows something is going on but Haley won't tell him. What happened with Nathan was supposed to be a one time thing, but she can't stop thinking about him. She really loves Lucas but finds herself wanting Nathan.

Years pass and Haley has a small child now. She's at work when Nathan comes over, he wants to tell her how he feels and that's he's sorry for what happened before. Then he sees Jamie and knows that the kid is his. Lucas knows, too but can't admit it to himself. Nathan comes back later when Haley's home by herself and she tells him that she wanted a baby; the only thing Lucas couldn't give her, but Nathan could. She denies feeling anything for him and he leaves, knowing she's lying to herself.

One night Lucas and Haley are on the rooftop goofing around and playing, Lucas sees Nathan's jersey number tattooed on her back and she tells him the truth. Lucas lets her go so she can be with the man she really loves and Jamie can know his real dad, even though Luke had planned on marrying her.
