Man I remember listening to Wu, Boot Camp, Gangstarr, Group Home, Jeru, Illmatic, Gravediggaz and so on, me and all my friends, but every time I pulled out my shoebox of tapes which was under the seat of my '89 Accord, I had Southernplayalistic, Soul Food, Till Death Do Us Part, Devin the Dude in there with all the NY shit, and my friends were always hating on the South, but I never gave a fuck, always rocked those tapes...still do, always will.
