wow...this makes me feel unbeatable, unfettered by any obstacle, massively powerful, probably exactly as KEFKA felt!!!

"Kefka was not a supernatural being, or the collected sum of all evil, or a mind warping God from another planet. He was a man, albeit a twisted soul, who sought supreme power above all else. He wasn't a puppet to a higher power or a victim seeking revenge. He was just an awful human being...and a wonderful bad guy." - GT

successful how? Ending all of time or having lots of power does not a successful villain make.

Kefka has power and meaning. His very being is integral to Final Fantasy 6. The fact is he represents nihilism at its purest, that's what makes him the best and most "powerful" villain. not destroying all of time or splitting the world in half.

I don't get why Caius exists at all, what does he represent, it was my same problem with the original villains in FF13, what they represent isn't spelled out.

"most people I've talked to about the game haven't even realized the reference until I brought it up"

    My thought: "what a waste."

that doesnt change the multitude of things that ruin the game. not to mention a villain does not just make a game. even in the batman series without batman the villains just win and there is no suspense.

Gotta agree though I felt that part gave a mixture of sad nostalgia since I haven't played the game since 2007

but the thing from Kefka is the "non believing" coming from the heroes that their ultimate Nemesis actually achieved what he wanted, and is Now in a position almost untouchable,BUT,they still fight. they still bleed. Kefka still bleed, and because of this.... they hold on.
