Lived in Minnesota pretty much my whole life. First became a Viking fan in 1987, and it's been nothing but heartache ever since. 15-1 record and the most prolific scoring offense ever? Doesn't matter, we'll find a way to lose. Brett Favre with the ball, tie game, under a minute? We'll find a way to lose. Gary Anderson hasn't missed a FG in two year? We'll find a way to lose.......

  • @TruMuzician ~ Gotta be one of the stupidest comments I've ever read. "If you dont see a chance of them winning then find another team". One thing I've learned from my 33 years of living in Minnesota: there are a shitload of delusional fans in this state who actually think the Vikings are superbowl bound at the start of every season. Guess what- you can be a diehard fan of a team and still be realistic. You can be a life-long fan of a team and still hate getting your heart broken repeatedly

  • You forgot to include: The Herschel Walker trade, Mike Tice's superbowl ticket scalping, Brian McKinnie getting booted from the Pro Bowl, Kevin and Pat Williams cheating, Boat rides, Mossy Cade, and Lets not forget Tyron Poole, and of course, 0-4 in the Superbowl.

  • @moosemanjess

-I included most of that stuff in my other video "Minnesota Vikings: A Brief History".

  • I sadly became a fan of the vikings at the start of the 98 season. Thats probably the worst timing possible cause I was fooled into thinking I had picked a winner. I should have listened to my family when they told me of the 4 super bowl let downs but I didnt listen... to this day I remain a fan in the vein hope that we will someday win it all

  • @jondough7777777

The Lions have won NFL World Championships with four, but never a Super Bowl. Ditto for the Browns.

  • They should have won BOTH of those NFC title games. I remember griffith dropped a endzone interception against the falcons on the last drive in the 4th, and if favre hadn't thrown that stupid pick they probably would have went for it on forth and got into feild goal position. The Vikings are just a loser team, destined never to get over the hump.

  • @1trumantucker1 I'd have to agree that really is the one of the stupidest things I have ever read.

  • @1trumantucker1 Couldn't agree more, this is why I am glad I live in Wisconsin, a state where our football team actually has talent...We'd be happy to take Adrain Peterson from you guys though!

  • im sad minasota has crap f u gren bay!

  • @michaelparente1 ponder has the most turnovers among rookie qbs since he started playing.Seeing him play today is just tough to watch

  • Watching that '87 title game always brings back bad memories. I know Darren Nelson always gets the blame for dropping that pass, but something I've said since it happened in '87 and seeing the slow-motion replay and have said it ever since, I think that Anthony Carter ran the wrong route on that one. AC was double covered and in almost the exact same spot. Had he not been there, perhaps (and I'm just guessing) Nelson could have caught that. We'll never know.
