In the middle of an ocean in distant lands, Kenji lived out his days in the quiet village of Zipang. The town's Shogun, Narosuke, ruled over the land, and was the man who Kenji and everyone else in town referred to as "leader".
In Zipang, there was an elite ninja clan that watched over the village. The role of this clan was to keep the peace in Zipang, and to assure that no one was plotting treason or betrayal against Narosuke. Kenji was the leader of this clan, and he constantly laid his life on the line to uphold his and Narosuke's honor, and to protect the tranquil lives of the others in the village.
All was peaceful in the land of Zipang...until one day...
Kenji awoke to find that his hometown had suddenly burst into chaos.
Houses aflame, villagers screaming in terror, pure anarchy...it all happened seemingly out of nowhere.
Was it an invasion from a rival clan? Was it a demon from the shadows?
Narosuke immediately ordered Kenji's clan to find whoever was behind this and kill them. The clan made haste to find the culprit, and to bring peace once again to the land of Zipang.
However, before Kenji could leave, he sensed something... something wrong...
Enjoy!

Despite his crazy antics, Etrigan really isn't that hard to beat. Hard to catch maybe, but not beat.
His main battle plan is to dash around (and his dash is FAST) throwing fireballs every whichway, while spamming FLAMING CHARGE every once in a while to get to the other side of the screen. His moves do pack a wallop though, so if you get hit (and you will), expect a nice chunk of damage.
Even though he has the moves, he'll heavily rely on his medium/hard punches and his normal chaining. If he gets you in the corner he'll just slash you over and over and over again...good thing his normals don't do chip damage. :P
He's got a lot of special moves at his disposal. He's got about 10 (!!) supers, but not all of them do damage. Some of them power him up in some way, like his Demon's Sacrifice super, which takes a bit of his health away to completely fill his super bar.
I dunno if this is true, but apparently, Etrigan can't use his spellbook supers like Thundering Serpent and Dancing Blazes (along with some others I'm too lazy to name) more than once per round. I haven't seen him use either of those moves twice in a match, so maybe it does work.
Overall, I like Etrigan, but he's got his problems. For one, he doesn't have sprites for certain situations. An example of that is in the video, where Kenji slams him to the ground and he suddenly vanishes for a bit. Strange.
His throws are kinda glitchy too. Sometimes they do damage, sometimes they don't. 'Sup wit dat man?
He also has that weird "MvC"-style chaining like Lex Luthor had, that makes the chaining look kinda like button mashing. In fact, I've noticed that a lot of these custom MvC creations have that very same problem. Slow that shit down guys.
Also, is it just me, or is Kenji a tad overpowered?
Could you please tell me the real name of the pre-Etrigan appearance music? I've looked up the theme of the Genji & Heike clans on Youtube and it doesn't sound like it at all. I think you might have made a mistake...
